BUBBLER TRIPS

A highly popular and exciting opportunity for DIVE Cincinnati divers is “Bubbler Trips” -- an impact-reducing device used to aid divers in learning new dives. "The Bubbler" greatly decreases new-dive learning time by lessening the fear involved with attempting the new dive. Divers who attend “Bubbler” Trips will also have the opportunity to use the over-the-water spotting rig and wet spotting belt. "Bubbler" trips take place at the Miami University Aquatic Center in Oxford, Ohio. A maximum of 12 divers are permitted to attend a “Bubbler” trip and the “Bubbler” practice will last for 1-½ hours. “Bubbler” trips are announced via e-mail or on the DIVE Cincinnati Website and sign-ups for “Bubbler” trips are on a first call, first served basis. The fee is $60.00 per diver. Divers (and their parents) meet at the Miami University Pool.
