Steve Runs Into Courtney Gay At The Airport

Lauralee Frazer & Jenny Huber

Lauralee Frazer, Jenny Huber, Steve Voellmecke

Two of the first ever DIVE Cincinnati divers -- from way back in 1985, Lauralee Frazer (Highlands H.S.) and Jenny Huber (Lakota H.S.).

Steve ran into (former DIVE Cincinnati diver and coach) Jenny Huber Rehberger at the 2005 PPSL Diving Finals. Jen recently moved to Ft. Thomas, KY with her husband Jeff and two daughters Jasmine and Jade. They bought the house right across the street from where Lauralee Frazer Foley grew up and where her parents still live. After a practice at NKU this summer, Steve met up with Jen and Lauralee to catch up with them. They have planned a DIVE Cincinnati reunion for the divers from back in that "era."

That first group of DIVE Cincinnati divers was a very special group of kids. They came from all over the Tri-state area and became good friends through their diving. Many of them attended each other's proms and homecomings and got together on weekends to "hang out." Many of these former divers still keep in touch today -- and it all started because they stood together in line at the University of Cincinnati listening to Steve yell at them to "point their toes!!!"

To contact Jenny: jj.inc@fuse.net. To contact Lauralee: lauraleefoley@yahoo.com.

Anna Battoclette Completes College Diving Career

In the last dual meet of the season (vs. Albion College), Anna posted her highest 6 dive scores on both boards by more than 30 points. Going into the season Anna's highest score on one-meter was a 198, she finished the year with a 252 (previously in the season she had gone a 212). Anna' Conference Championship took place the 2nd weekend of February. On three-meter, Anna ended with a personal best of 385 for an 11 dive meet and a third place finish.
