Donohue Finishes 2nd at MAC Championships

Peter Donohue (Turpin H.S. 2001 / DC 2001) finished in second place at the MAC Conference Championships on the one-meter board. During warm-ups for the three meter, he hit his head on the board but still went on to compete finishing in 13th place.

Peter, now a freshman at Miami University, was Ohio High School State Champion during his Junior year. At the State Meet his Senior year, he failed a dive when his knees buckled on takeoff. Despite barely making the first cut, he fought his way back and finished the meet in THIRD place -- a remarkable accomplishment at the State Championships considering the failed dive.
